Indianapolis Colts by 13.5 over the Cincinnati Bengals
The Colts have won 5 in a row and are making a push for the playoffs. In this one they meet an awful Bengals team that should be playing for next year but instead just aren’t playing. They lost by 31 last week at home to Baltimore and this week things do not look much better as they are on the road against an Indy team that is getting hot at just the right time. Bengals are 0-6 on the road this year and Indy has won 5 straight against them. Look for the Indianapolis Colts to take this one by 17.
Tennessee Titans by 14 over the Cleveland Browns
The Tennessee Titans, with 10 days rest and fresh off their destruction of the Detroit Lions on the national stage, get another bye week this week at home against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns not only have 2 quarterbacks on the injured reserve and there star tight end out for the game, their front office is good enough to air all their dirty laundry in the form of press conferences, at which time they talk nothing about how they can get better but only piss and moan about how poor a job everyone else in the organization is doing. This team just needs to scrap everyone and start over. Tennessee by 20.
New England Patriots by 6.5 over the Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks had no hope to begin with and with Matt Hasselbeck doubtful for this game they have even less. New England are 17-1 after a loss since 2003. Look for Bill Belichick to make a statement against a bad Seahawks team. New England by 2 touchdowns.
Pittsburgh Steelers by 3 over the Dallas Cowboys
For my upset pick I take the Dallas Cowboys on the road against the best defense in the league. Barber is out this week but since the Cowboys don’t run much that really won’t make that big of a deal. Romo will need to by some time with his feet to avoid James Harrison and the tough Steelers pass rush but that is one thing he can do. I look for this one to come down to the wire and the Cowboys to squeeze this one out buy a field goal.
Eliminator Pick
Take the Arizona Cardinals over the St Louis Rams
