for (var i=0; i Houston Texans by at home over the Cincinnati Bengals At this point the Texans are one dimensional and the Bengals D is good enough to take that away too. Bengals advance to the Divisional Round. New Orleans Saints by 10.5 at home over the Detroit Lions This thing is going to be a shootout. I am not sure either of these teams can be stopped on offense. The edge goes to the Saints being at home and the experienced general at the helm. Saints by 7. New York Giants by 3 at home over the Atlanta Falcons They have given the edge to the Giants to this one. It must be because they are the home team but I have to go with the Falcons on this one. Better record and a more balanced team. Falcons by 7. Pittsburgh Steelers by 8.5 at the Denver Broncos For my upset pick of the week I will take the Broncos over the Steelers. Roethlisberger looked terrible last week against the Browns and has had a setback in practice this week. The Broncos D should be able to do some damage. Mendenhall is gone which means they have a banged up passing game and a significantly depleted running game. Tebow is no magician but the Broncos will take this one. Not sure why this did not post the first time but lets try this again. This week I will be looking at the Playoff relevant games San Francisco 49ers by 12.5 at the St. Louis Rams San Fran hold on to the #2 spot in the playoffs with a 14 point win over the Rams Detroit Lions by 6.5 at the Green Bay Packers I have to go with the Pack on this one. Lions have not won there in 20 games and there is no way that McCarthy will let them lose into the playoffs. Lions go in as the 6th seed. New Orleans Saints by 7 at home over the Carolina Panthers Saints by 10. This won’t mean much for the playoffs picture with the Niners whooping the Rams. Baltimore Ravens by 3 at the Cincinnati Bengals The Ravens have been awful on the road this season. Cincinnati will win themselves into the playoffs. Pittsburgh Steelers by 7 at the Cleveland Browns Pittsburgh still has a chance to be number one and beating up on the Browns will be a good way to start that. Steelers by 10. New England Patriots by 10.5 at home over the Buffalo Bills The win by the Steelers unfortunately won’t give the Steelers the #1 as the road to the Superbowl will go through New England in the AFC. Patriots by 14. Oakland Raiders by 2.5 at home over the San Diego Chargers Raiders are still in it if they can win this one with a Denver loss. The Chargers looked terrible last week against the Lions. Raiders by 7. Denver Broncos by 2.5 at home over the Kansas City Chiefs Tebow has one more game of magic in him. Denver by 7 Kansas City Chiefs by 3 at home over the Oakland Raiders Wow this division is a mess. Whenever you think some is out of it they start playing well and it seams it is right when the teams at the top start giving their games away. Kansas City handed the Packers their first loss of the season last week and they will ride that high to take out the Raiders this week and put them right back in the hunt to win this division. Chiefs by 7. Carolina Panthers by 8 at home over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Panthers are keeping up with good teams in their games, they should have no issues with the awful Bucs. Carolina by 10 San Francisco 49ers by 3 at the Seattle Seahawks The 49ers have had some issues getting the ball into end zone but their D is good enough to shutdown the Seahawks. Niners by 7. New Orleans Saints by 7 at home over the Atlanta Falcons There are few teams playing better the Falcons and Saints right now. This game will be a shootout. I give the edge to the team fighting for their playoff lives. Falcons have the win and in scenario on their side so I look for them to eek out a win against their division rival Saints. Eliminator I will take the Redskins over the Vikings.Home » Pretzel’s Picks » Recent Articles:
